Marin will be alive with singing this Saturday with two large vocal harmony events being held in the county.

At the daytime Sing Marin event a variety of local choirs and vocal ensembles will be performing throughout the afternoon at the Marin Country Mart.

And this year you have the opportunity to not only be entertained, but to join in the singing as well. Vocal instructor Pollyanna Bush will be leading a SoarSing where everybody is invited to participate…a chance to improvise and harmonize with others. Big fun! Free!

And in the evening it is the main event with the 35th annual Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival National Finals being held at the Marin Center. Regional winners are flown here to compete for the national championship in what is always an exciting evening of vocal harmony singing. Over the decades we have presented the Festival it is likely many of you have attended a show and know how entertaining they are. And for those who have yet to attend well come on down and see (and hear) what it's all about. There's a good reason we have been dong this for so long.
